The date of the specific death (04 Feb 1700) is quite close to the date of marriage between John Emans and Angelica Van Clefe (04 Mar 1701) and suggests a leap to conclusion.
John Emans and Engeltje had no known children and all of the children mentioned in John's will are the children of Sara van Salee. Cornelia, who has been suggested to be the daughter of the couple, married Paulus Dircksz Ammerman in 1699, so she is the wrong age.
