Thank you for your contributions to WikiTree.
I see that you have been adding pre-1700 profiles tonight using "Marchant Family History" as your source. I cannot find any record for this book and I don't know if England Project would consider this an adequate source for pre-1700 profiles. Please contact them before expanding this tree any further.
It would also be helpful if you could please further identify this source: where it was published and by whom, and where and when you accessed it.
It would also be helpful if you could provide at least an approximate location for these profiles, as per WikiTree rule.
Thanks,
Dave
Thank you for taking the time to communicate your thoughts with me, very much appreciated. It is great to know that somebody actually takes the time to read what is being posted.
The reason that you can not find "Marchant Family History" is that that it is an unpublished document, researched and written by Arthur Noel Marchant in 1981. It is (was) a typed document 30 page document with 6 pages of Supplements and 8 hand-drawn family trees. It has been the basis of research by several Marchant family Members (My wife is a Marchant). I have recently edited and compiled it into a digital format that is editable. I can send you a copy if you would like. I referred to Page 12 and Page 45 (Family Trees Sheet E1)
Further reference sources are:
I quickly added the bones of the profiles, so I could later flesh them out.
Thanks,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.
It looks like the US History Project or England Project would be a good fit with the tag comments you entered. Adding the tag England or United_States_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.
Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Welcome to WikiTree! Our goal is one big tree. We all work as a team to make this happen.
It doesn't matter if you have a lot of ancestors to add or just a few, getting started is easy! Add your personal tags, family surnames or topics that might interest you with a short description below them. Tags are very important and will help you connect with others about people, projects, etc. Then click the volunteer button below, and that's all you need to do.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way! I am looking forward to seeing you on Wiki Tree. I hope we have some tags in common.
Welcome to the family! Were really glad youre here.
Linda
