Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1849. She is the daughter of Samuel Candler and Martha Beall.

Ezekiel F Candler (must be Elizabeth) was enumerated for the United States Census, 1850 at The 11th Division, Carroll County, Georgia on April 10th. Here is the first page dated April 9th, 1850 showing the family as seen in an image of the original with S C Candler, Martha B, Milton, E S and Noble D.[1] She is on the following page in this same census, but dated April 10th, as seen in an image of the original, which also lists Julia F Candler, Sarah J and Wm B.

Eliza F Candler was enumerated for the United States Census, 1860 along with S C Candler, Martha B Candler, Ezekiel S Candler, Noble D Candler, Florence Candler, Jessie D Candler, Wm B Candler, Asa G Candler, Charles C Candler, and Warren A Candler at the 2nd District, Carroll County, Georgia.[2]

Lizzie F Dobbs was enumerated as wife at District 642, Carroll County, Georgia for the United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeping house, born in 1850 in Georgia and married. Also included in the household are self Harris H Dobbs, son Samuel C Dobbs and daughter Anna B Dobbs.[3]

She passed away following complications with breast cancer as noted about her December 29, 1922 Georgia Death.[4] and seen in this image of the Standard Certificate of Death. Her husband is listed as H H Dobbs, father Samuel C. Candler and mother Martha Beall. The informant is A G Candler and the attending physician is L L Campbell.

Elizabeth Frances Candler Dobbs is buried at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Villa Rica, Carroll County, Georgia.[5]
