Biography
Jeanne DeVouzy migrated from France to New France.
Jeanne DE VOIZY (1622 - 1689)
Jeanne was born around 1614 in Gallardon, Chartres diocese, Beauce, France. (53 on 1667 census)
The inscription on the plaque of the monument for Nicolas Pelletier translates as follows:
In Memory Of Nicolas Peltier and Jeanne de Vousy The First Pelletier Family To Settle In New France Originally from the Parish of Saint-Pierre & Saint-Paul of Gallardon in Beauce (France), they arrived in this country on June 11, 1636, accompanied by their sons Jean and François. Living first in Québec City, they settled on the côte Saint-François-Xavier in Sillery about 1645. Governor Charles Huault de Montmagny granted to master-carpenter Nicolas Peltier 50 acres of land on September 12, 1645. Father Jean de Quen, Superior of the Company of Jesus (Jesuits) in New France, granted him another 50 acres in May 1659. This monument rests on a part of the lands bestowed upon the Peltier family.[8]
Notes
Jeanne's father Barthélemy De Voizy and Jeanne's mother Jeanne Gardony were detached from the profile, there is no evidence linking them to her, the baptism previously cited in 1612 bears different names.

I have read all the above notes and I'm confused as to her parents names. They are still listed above but under the "notes" section is says the names were being detached. And then further down the page, near the bottom of the list of sources, it reads "christening record 1612 Image 172 of 248. This parish register provides the correct information for this person's christening. It also states her parents."
So, did the christening record confirm that Barthelemy de Voisy and Jeanne Gardony are her parents? Thanks.
The baptism in fact does not confirm who her parents were, since no marriage record has been found for her. The names are also problematic on the baptism, specifically the supposed father's name. Current link to the disputed act is now in notes.
DeVouzy-5 and Devoissy Roussy-2 appear to represent the same person because: Same first and last name, same husband's name, same burial date and place - Devoissy Roussy-2 unsourced.
