William was born in 1707-9. He passed away in 1769.
Parents:
William Marshall, born abt 1709 in Henrico, Virginia Colony, married 4 times:
Children, as named in his will: John, William, Elizabeth, Ann, Phebe (?), Mary, Tabitha, Sarah, Martha, Sussanah.
Children by Anne McLeod (married 1724-1736):
Children by Phoebe Farmer (married 1742-1764):
Children by unknown wife, perhaps Phoebe:
Therefore we see him listing his sons first in his will, followed by his daughters; each set probably being presented in birth order. If this is correct, then Phoebe was likely born before Mary, and Martha was born before Susannah, both with the mother as Phoebe Farmer.
He died in 1768/9 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, Virginia Colony.[1]
