Hello,

My name is Guy. I am a WikiTree Mentor and a Leader.

Then you can connect your family to the greatest global family tree on the planet.

And remember, we have the best team to help you through our marvelous site.

Enjoy your journey on Wikitree.

As always, I'm here to help if you have any questions!

Guy

Hi!

How are you? I'm Shirley, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Do you have Royal Ancestors? Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

And I'm here to help too, just ask!

Shirley ~ WikiTree Mentor

Hi , and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your connection with India. I wanted to let you know we have a project that focuses on India India Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.

Thank you so much for joining WikiTree. Good luck with your research in 2016.

Hi Navaneethakrishnan,

Thanks for your message indicating you wish to explore genealogy and help the WikiTree community where you can. I have found WikiTree to be an excellent tool for research and collaboration.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree. Once you entered your family members it is exciting to see other people finding your family profiles, asking questions, and expanding it.

To show you the benefits being a WikiTree member please refer to WikiTree Community Membership.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, or you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Great to have you on board, good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree.

Hi Navaneethakrishnan,

A warm welcome to WikiTree as a guest! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, working towards ONE collaborative profile for every person.

Here are some suggestions to get you started:

1. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum.

2. Our Help pages have all sorts of useful information.

3. Our Honor Code is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree so please take some time to read it.

4. Explore the Family Tree & Tools tab at the top of your profile.

If you like to grow your own family tree and agree with our Mission & 9 Simple Rules, click the Volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile on how you can contribute.

More importantly, have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest.
