Francois Roger was born 13 February 1776 and was baptized on 3 March 1776 at the Ascension Church, Donaldsonville, Louisiana.[1]
He was the son of Joseph Caissy dit Roger and Anastasie Dugas.
The family was listed on a census dated 23 April 1777 at Donaldsonville.[2]
Francois married Marguerite Adelaide LeBlanc on 24 January 1802 in Plattenville, Assumption Parish, Louisiana.[3][4]
He died 6 September 1853 in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana and is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Thibodaux, Louisiana.[5][6]
