Thanks self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Collaboration with Pre-1700 Project members is essential for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because those ancestors are usually shared by many descendants.
It looks like the United States and Canada Projects would be a good fit based on your branch of WikiTree. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Regardless, a couple general pointers. Canadian Confederation was in 1867, so before that date, we try not to use "Canada" in our place names. For references, FamilySearch, Census Canada, or Nova Scotia Historical and vital statistics (and more) are all very good sources. We really want people to use full citations, with links to the records. This helps everyone with our research and collaboration. I've edited a couple profiles with the place names, categories, and citations as an example. (Categories are optional, but good).
Cheers! And give me a shout if you want anything; Brad

I have done some research into this and it appears that your line of Harvey is different even though it was collocated in the Renfrewshrie, Area. My particular line was primarily in what was known as Paisley Low, and some moved to Ayrshire. The spelling of my line began Harvy and later became Harvie, but to my knowledge was never Harvey. I will be adding a number of new Harvie’s that I found during this research which cover 1730’s to 1870’s.
I did find a marriage in Scotland’s People: Charles Walmsley married Jeanie Harvey in 1897 in Paisley, Renfewshire, Scotland ref. # 573/1 536.
Also found a possible birth for Charles: "Scotland Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FQXL-2C9 : 12 February 2020), Charles Walmsley, 1873.
Possible birth for Jean: "Scotland Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FQ4Z-D62 : 12 February 2020), Jean Harvey, 1870.
Hope some of this helps.
Randy
