Hi

I sent you a check-in message a week ago about the US Southern Colonies Project to ask you about your continued involvement but have no yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?

If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes,

Mary, Membership Coordinator, US Southern Colonies Project

Dorothy, I'm sorry, I accidentally clicked on the integrators challenge box, and forgot to unclick it when I chose sorcerers challenge. Maybe one of these days I'll participate in the integrators challenge as well

Hi Angelyn

Thanks  for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz. As Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within a project is essential

Please ensure a location is entered on all profiles and data matches dates of profile. Avoid abbreviations as these can mean different things or location around the world, add sources with citations & links for sources to support the data. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources

The United States Project and its sub projects for each state, would be of interest. Adding the tag UNITED_STATES will connect you  Follow this link for your Tags:   your tags

Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus.

Hi Angelyn,

As you will have seen, we have been doing some restructuring in the US Southern Colonies Project and are now organising ourselves into different teams. We have also changed the criteria for membership. Please have a look at the new project pages, and let me know whether you would like to remain in the project and, if so, which team(s) you would like to be in.

Please can you also send me your e-mail address. I can then make sure you are introduced to your Team Leaders and are in the Google Group.

Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the US Southern Colonies Project that you respond to these check-ins.

Many thanks,

Susie, US Southern Colonies Project Co-Leader

Thank you for improving Caleb Bowman's profile. One of the sources does not belong to Caleb's family who lived in Indiana. The source was for NC and Caleb's wife was Rebecca Ballew and the dates don't match. I will be removing it. I tried to find the correct family to put the source in the right place but failed. Do you want to find or create the profile?

Not his family. to be deleted

  • John Rutherford Bowman was the son of Caleb and Rebecca Ballew who lived in North Carolina:
