The fact that the New Netherland Settlers Project name is on that profile as manager doesn't prevent other people from editing it. Your comment suggests that you have some very good information that deserves to be added.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Lois (Schultz) Young

Genealogy and history have become my main interest after 4 years of researching my great grandmother's ancestors from the only knowledge of "he was an orphan" to finding the links to his arrival in about 1640 from the Netherlands, farming on Manhattan Island and being of French Huguenot origin. Dutch naming traditions and spelling in all historical records have resulted in numerous record errors; I hope I can help provide accurate and sourced information on the descendants of my 8 x gr. grandfather.
