Connection Combat: Billy the Kid vs. Lawman Pat Garrett

Question

Following this week's New Mexico notables connection theme, our game this week is a shootout between Wild West outlaw Billy the Kid and the lawman who took him down, Pat Garrett.

Here's how the game is played:
