Hi! My name is Yisela and I'm an anthropologist and UX Designer with a passion for history and genealogy. I live in Wiltshire, England.
My family emigrated to Argentina during 1840-1880, mostly from Northern Italy/Austria and Spain'. I haven't been able yet to trace their names earlier than 1830 - with a few exceptions in the Roveretto area which is slightly better documented.
I'm interested in collaborating with the big tree, and help and be helped in my quest to find those elusive and brave people who jumped onto boats that would take them somewhere they couldn't even name. I carry them and their stories with me, and hope to contribute to a clearer picture of the huge human family :)
If you happen to be looking for Argentinian relatives, don't hesitate to contact me for advice on how to check boat registries and the 1895 census.

This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.
Thanks and have a great day!
I hope you check it out. If I have you down for a team, let me know. If you still haven't decided, feel free to comment. Thanks!
Muchas gracias, gracias de antemano, Deborah
I could not find anything for Barbera on FamilySearch or Nati in Trentino records but do know a genealogist who could help. I should mention that you have her birth date as the same as her son.
Cheers, Thom
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz! Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential.
I see you have taken care of yourself with 2 good projects, Italian Roots Project and Irish Roots Great.. You are on your way.
If you have other questions? Just Ask!!

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As I always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Ive added the Irish Roots Project badge to your profile. If you click on the badge it will take you to the full list of our wonderful members. Click on Irish Roots Project will take you to the first page of the project. I've added your good self to the member interest page. Here you can let others know which counties or names you are researching etc.
Thanks for joining the project and good luck with your research.
Maria
You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

PS Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try! For profiles for living people, just go to this link. RootsSearch
It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to Private w/ Public Biography & Family Tree to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see How to DNA on WikiTree
Here's a great YouTube video with all sorts of questions answered Getting Started with DNA.

I noticed in your Tags you had mentioned DNA interpretation. You may like to check out our DNA project once you have become acquainted with how Wikitree works. Here is the link for your convenience: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:DNA
Happy researching Wendy ~ Wikitree Greeter
I've just confirmed your Wikitree membership. I really hope you enjoy Wikitree as much as I do.
Because Wikitree is different to other genealogy sites, we have a guide to help you: New Member How-To. This should make your navigation around Wikitree really easy, but if you have further questions, please feel free to message me and I will find the answer to your question.
Do visit our G2G forum (under help top right of your page) and introduce yourself. You will find so many people willing to assist in breaking down brick walls.
Happy researching,
Wendy ~ Wikitree Greeter
