DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with PE or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with PE:

Hello-

I tried emailing you privately about our merged profile for Robert Hovell but realized it didn't go through- for some reason I can't send any messages through the website right now. Either way, I tried avoiding it prior but it was proposed several times so I wanted to make sure one of us completed it. Also, I made sure not to delete ANY of your profile but I did move some things around to kind of blend the two together....so please look at it and change whatever you think needs it as I may have accidentally forgotten something or not seen it while using my phone to complete it. Cheers! Becky Elizabeth ID- Simmons-11603

Hi Becky, I removed myself from the profile. It turns out I am not descended from him. You can adjust the profile as you see fit. Good work!

Hi, I think I've got all the connections redone on the Arden family, based on Dugdale and documents from several parishes. I just need to add in a few more generations to get Johanna who married John Swyford.

Hello P E, I noticed that you have posted on several project managed profiles of living notables. This link will explain the policy change that was proposed and the final decision from it. Any input on this Living Notables policy draft? was posted in G2G, there is a link to the new policy on that post, and you can see when the decision was made. I hope that this helps explain why the changes were made. Regards, Laura

Hi PE,

Thanks for adopting those profiles. When you are ready, do you know how to add sources for your info? These pages may help Pre-1500 profiles, and Pre-1500 Sources.

Hi PE, just a courtesy message to say that I'm looking at the Dethick family of Norfolk, who descend from the Derbyshire family. You adopted a bunch of them recently.

Cheers, Chris

Hello cousin! I apologize for my late response regarding your Aug. msg: " Pierpont-417 (Margaret) and her marriage to Benjamin Swain". I was immersed in 17th c. Quakers and kept forgetting to return to Margaret. The Quakers drew me into another world.... Regardless, any profile I manage - please feel free to make an update on the data if I misinterpreted something or made a mistake I didn't catch. I'm a former financial auditor so I try to be highly accurate in the data I bring over from a source but I'm old, burnt out, and not infallible. :-) If there's something you need me to research or do for the profile please let me know and I will not be so forgetful next time. :-)
Thanks for having a big heart and adopting orphaned profiles. Before going on to take responsibility for more, please take a moment to read https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Orphaned_Profiles#After_adopting_orphans

Since some of the profiles you adopted are pre-1500 and it seems you are not certified, you will not be able to improve these profiles yourself. Please see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1500_Profiles

Hi PE,

This is just a friendly reminder that WikiTree has made changes to the help pages for Pre-1700 profiles since you certified last September. In particular, it is now required that you have a cite reliable source when you create a pre-1700 profile (or update an existing one). Please take a look at the new pages. Projects are looking for reliable sources to add to their lists; please contact them if you know of a good source!

Thank you,

Isabelle
