Hi Alison,

On behalf of the England Project Leaders we're carrying out a check-in to see how all the members are doing and taking the opportunity to thank you for all your hard work over the past six months. We have been so impressed with the way everyone has rallied together and gone the extra mile to make this one of the most dedicated, productive and friendly communities on WikiTree. What are you enjoying most about being in the project? What would you like to see improved or changed? Would you like to continue in the project moving forwards?

We're looking forward to hearing back from you,

Amy, Susie, Gillian, and Wendy

Hi Alison - the change you made to Harriet Louisa Knowles' father is incorrect - Thomas Knowles died three years before her birth and could not have been her father. She was the illegitmate daughter of Thomas Knowles' widow (hence the surname) and George Harlock. For a source, please see page 4 of the Cambridge Independent Press, dated 26th July 1845, detailing the order of affiliation made against him.

Alison, Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

These may fit: England Project for Choules ancestors; Irish Roots project for Kane ancestors. Please use researched sources

Please refer to the new recommended sources for Pre-1700’s.Cite Reliable sources

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find a project..

For questions, just ask!
