Biography

Simon LeBlanc, son of Simon LeBlanc and Marguerite Guilbeau, was born about February 28, 1780 and baptized two months later on March 28, 1780. His baptism was recorded at the Opelousas Catholic Church in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]

Simon LeBlanc died on October 27, 1817 in St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[2]

LEBLANC, Simon dit Simonette - Succ. dated August 1818 (SM Ct. Hse.: Succ. #299).

Simon was mentioned on a memorial in Saint Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Saint Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, United States with a death date of 27 October 1817.[3]
