G2G: Parents of John Albert Kennedy born abt 1862 Manchester, England.

Question

Hello. I am having difficulty finding further info on John Albert Kennedy, born abt 1862 in Manchester, England(parents, previous generations) family members say his parents were from Fermanagh, Ireland. According to census records he arrived in US around 1880-1881 and was married in 1889 in New York to Magdalena Gandert, born in New York, NY in 1870.  JAK passed away in 1949 at 87 in New York, NY.  I appreciate any info. Thank you.

John Albert Kennedy was born 1862 (Chorlton 8c/497 q September 1862).

Living 17 Unicorn Strret, Salford, Manchester in 1871, indeed his parents were born in Ireland. The census reads:
