Emil Georg Conrad Sauer: I am trying to find more information about his mother but hardly can´t read her death record (resolution of the ancestry sharing link in her profile is too low). To me it looks like her birth place is not Dresden, but maybe Moskau. Could anybody with a Ancestry subscription verify her birth place?

by Owl (36.4k points)

yup, Moskau yes

Möchtest Du den scan haben?

Danke, das hilft :-)

Den Scan brauch ich nicht. Bin recht zuversichtlich, dass ich den Rest mehr oder weniger hab entziffern können.

Should be connected, since I build the connection between Hermann Elb and  Philipp Marckwald

I’ve added the maternal grandparents of Franz Johann Gleißner. The surnames were Dozauer/Tozauer, and Eismann. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tozauer-1

by Owl (33.1k points)

He now has 163 connections. They are in the connections table, but not in the CC7, which is now at 117. I guess the CC7 only counts up to 7 degrees. However the missing links table still shows Eismann-33 and Eismann-34 as having no children.

He’s connected to various cities and has ten degrees of connections. Or maybe eleven. Some of the cities are Neustadt, Altenstadt, Windischeschenbach, and Pressath. I think that I will be able to connect him to my tree in Pressath or Windischeschenbach. But if anyone sees any surnames that interest them, feel free to jump in.

Here is a document from 1819 which lists Caecilia Gleißner as a lythographer’s daughter. Is she the mother or godmother of the infant? It starts on the bottom of the left page and continues on the top of the right page, and mentions Aloÿsius  Senefelder and Johann Ulbrecht(?).

* '''Record''': "Taufen"<br/>Bestand: CB301 München-Zu Unserer Lieben Frau - 1561-1937; Image: 43<br/>[https://dfg-viewer.de/show?id=9&tx_dlf%5Bid%5D=https%3A%2F%2Fdigitales-archiv.erzbistum-muenchen.de%2Factaproweb%2Fmets%3Fid%3DRep_e46cd223-64ef-4793-bc07-40b1028485ba_mets_actapro.xml&tx_dlf%5Bpage%5D=43 DFG Viewer] (accessed 15 June 2026).

It is a Twin birth. She is the mother. What I can read is:

First Column / Left Side:
Mayer und Gleißnerin
Zwillinge -> Twins
+ 2 / 8 19. -> first child Johann Albrecht died on 2 August 1819
+ 18 / 8 19 -> second child Aloys died on 18 August 1819

Second column
5 -> baptism on 5 April 1819

Third Column
K. {=Kinder -> Childs}
Johann Albrecht gestern Nacht 1/2 11 Uhr (yesterday night half to 11)
Aloys gestern Nacht 11 Uhr (yesterday night 11)
V. (=Vater -> father) Joseph Mayer ??nur beym K. Garde Regmt.
M. (=Mutter -> mother) Caecilia Gleißner d. Lytographen Tochter dahier

Right sied, Third Column
gf (=Gefattern -> godfather)
gf - Johann Albrecht Stromsdörfer BataillonsArzt per Aloysium Sennefel der Inspecto bey der K. Heer-Kataster-Comission
get. (getauft -> who baptized) K.S.Hage
H?. Schillingerin  (-> a woman Schillinger signs as witness)

Edit: Typo

Thank you! I was looking for a marriage document last night- I will continue looking. Kindest regards.

The Deutsch Biography puts him in Vienna in 1801. Where do I find Viennese records?

Wien / Vienna records should be at Matricula. Indexes you find here: Familia Austria

Thanks!

I’m up to 207 connections in ten degrees.

Wow: Congrats Rita, you connected him.

Thank you and kindest regards. Thank you for your help.  I had a good time and added an eight great grandfather.

Is her father the same person as the Emil Theodor Hasenclever who was born in Hagen on 2 Aug. 1845, to parents Theodor Hasenclever and Helene Neuhaus? (Ancestry.com. Germany, Select Births and Baptisms, 1558-1898)

If that's the case then Eleonore Noll-Hasenclever is connected to Peter Hasenclever (Hasenclever-28), per the Remscheid family book; compare https://gw.geneanet.org/rijacobs?n=hasenclever&oc=&p=friedrich+wilhelm+eberhard+daniel.

A person named Antonie Gerhardine Eleonore Marie Vielhaber was born in Ruhrort on 13 Jan. 1855, daughter of Gerhard and Gertrud Vielhaber (Stadtarchiv Duisburg; Film Number: 1336705; Page Number: 53;54)

Is this the mother?

und es gibt einen Sohn in FamilySearch mit ausgebauten Baum in Richtung NL:

https://www.familysearch.org/de/tree/person/details/MSS2-MTT

I may have connected Franz Johann Gleißner to my tree. I connected him to

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Füerling-1, and he is the brother of my seventh great grandfather. So hopefully that will connect him to the main tree.  So far I am still at ten degrees.

He is showing up as 19 degrees from me, but still as an unconnected notable.

He’s at 246 connections in ten degrees.

To complete June, Noll-Hasenclever now is connected via her husband's nephew's Dutch in-laws. His mother-in-law's younger sister, Henriëtta Clasina Disselkoen-10, has been on WT for not quite six months, solely as her second husband's wife and widow. Still many profiles to create for involved and related family members.

The connecting profile, Jeannetta Henriëtta Clasina Disselkoen-14, is/was Eleonore Noll-Hasenclever's 20th connection; I'm curious what her cc7 might be as soon as the system recognizes & shows her as connected.

However, it would of course still be great if Eleonore would also have at least one connection via her own German branches. So, don't forget about her just because she's no longer floating in space... wink

(ps ~ Paige, may I ask you to delete my name from the Sauer connection when you edit your post to update Eleonore? I didn't do anything at all that helped to connect him. The praise really is all Manuela's and Alexandra-Brigitte's. yes Thanks!)

buona fine settimana everyone

by Owl (219k points)

looks like it will be just 29 unless more profile creation and connecting happens...

Awesome!  I just put June "in the books" last night so I am very happy to see Eleanore connected.  Hopefully some day her family will be the connecting point for someone else and her connections will grow.
