Hi Jeff, 

Thanks for submitting this profile! The following is required for Gold Standard:

1. A reliable source is needed for Alvah's birthdate and location.
2. A reliable source is needed for Alvah's parents.
3. No more children and no more spouses need to be checked.
4. Alvah's relationship to his wife needs to be marked confirmed.
5. All his kids need to be marked confirmed and need reliable sources for their parents on their profiles (some have this already, some don't). If you can not find a reliable source for some, they need to be marked uncertain and need research notes explaining it.

The following is not required for Gold Standard, but recommended:

1. As a general rule on Wikitree, we do not copy long sections of text from other sources (besides transcribing primary sources). See Help:Copying Text for more info. I would suggest incorporating the key information from the outside biography in your own words, and you can supplement it with shorter excerpts/quotes (max a couple sentences to a paragraph).
