G2G: Ancestors of Joseph Tweedle married 1874 in Lancashire, England

Question

Joseph Tweedle married Adelaide Scott on 11 Jan 1874 at St. Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. I am interested in going back one generation to Joseph Tweedle's parents and also to Adalaide Scott's parents.

Any insight or help would be appreciated.

I presume this is the house joiner from 1881 census born Oxton living Tranmere with wife Adelaide born Ireland?

1871 living in Oxton with widowed mother Margaret - joiner's apprentice.

1861 living Oxton with parents Joseph and Margaret. Joseph born Helsby 1823/4. Margaret born Bidston 1825/6. Joseph is quarryman. Margaret is laundress.

FreeBMD give 4th quarter 1850 Joseph Tweedle married Margaret Meek. But there is a son aged 14 in 1861.

They are in the 1851 census in Oxton with a two year old daughter as well.

In 1841 Joseph is a farmer's servant in Helsby. I can't find Margaret. She might have been married previously, although I can't find it.
