Wondering if anyone could help me. I'm looking for any information on my grandfather born 1910 in Stonehaven Scotland. Thought to have been living in the Hendon area of London his name was James Barbour could have been spelled Barber Thought to have been working as a barman around 1952 onwards

There's a possible death registration of James Barbour in East Cleveland registration district in the June quarter 1974, whose date of birth is shown 21 June 1910. I can't find a birth registration in England and Wales which matches this date so it was possibly in Scotland.
You can find the index on www.Freebmd.org.uk. The death certificate can be ordered through
