Projects are a great way to collaborate on your ancestors' profiles and learn the naming conventions and other standards used for profiles from particular places and time periods.

I do agree with your mission. I guess you could call me an amateur genealogist, but I am related to the Comee-Comey family in the Western Hemisphere since 1652. I have done the genealogy work on my mother back to 1825. I would love to be a volunteer here.
