Major apologies to all who have been waiting for me to approve merges, make corrections, etc. I just got out of the hospital after over 3 weeks of treatment for infection of the chest cavity after pneumonia. It will be a long and slow comeback, so please be patient with me.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:

Hello George,

I have sent several requests for green and red coded profiles, which I would like to update. Please add me to the Trusted lists as indicated in my requests. Thank you.

I have sent you numerous requests to be added to profiles, which you have blocked, as a green code. You haven't responded to my notes, emails or requests. I hope all is well.

Hello George,

I hope everything is okay. I have been sending messages and requests to be added to various trusted lists for many months, but no response. So many of the profiles you manage, don't have any vital dates or places and are coded green, yellow and red, which of course means I can't access those profiles and add sources. George.... please open or transfer the profiles. My id is Tirey-10. Thank you and I hope you are okay.

Profile Aarons-3 should be open. There are currently no birth or death dates shown. She was born in 1892 and died in 1922.

By the way I have sent several trusted list requests, awaiting approval from you.

Computer crashed at the end of last week. I got a new one, but restoring e-mail is a big problem. There are other issues that will adversely affect WikiTree pursuits. If you're waiting for me to respond to queries, access requests, etc., then it is unfortunately likely that I will be much slower than usual.
Thank you for starting the Wilkie/Wilke merges. Like that you explained how names are used interchangeably until 1900, There are others in the same family that require merges. If you don't mind could you request their merges the same way so that I can fix the whole family at once.

Hi

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As I always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Hi George, you wrote on my homepage: "In regard to Clarence Connor (Connor-632) and his close family members, I've done some updating since your work on that group on about 3 Jul. Have tried to open up access enough for you to make further changes. After you're done, please let me know of any whose Privacy Level needs to be changed back to "Private" or "Private with Public Family Tree" to prevent possible identity theft. Thank you."

I can't remember that profile. The work done on it must have been regular arboring work that requires duplicates to merged. All profiles older that 1868 should be open to edit. WikiTree policy. Strictly, only living people or their parents need strictly private settings, or (preferably from the parents upwards) can have "Private with Public Family Tree".

I'm not going to do anymore work on "that group". It is now the responsibilty of the profile managers to edit the bio's and basic data fields so as to make it a coherent readible body of text, and validate the profiles further by providing primary sources.

Regards, Philip

Thanks for the info for Elizabeth/Fannie Holeman confusion. I left a message on that profile and created an unmerged match with Fannie.

Wilkie-1267. Ah, George. Sorry about the learning curve. I'm just working on database errors. If you see me writing on your profiles, correcting errors, it's just that. I am completely grateful that I made the decision a year ago to enter my info one profile at a time. It's saved me lots of trouble. Thanks for your time on the edits!
George,

Dr. James Wilkie is NOT the father of George William Wilkie! Dr. Wilkie is George's Grandfather. George's parents are Rufus Morrow Wilkie & Unity Susannah Ruppe. George's wife is NOT Jane Brooks; it's Mary Godfrey daughter of Joseph Lee Godfrey and Buena Vista "Bunny" Quinn. Please fix these errors or allow me to do so! Barb Selletti

Hi George, Birth and death locations are just that. Please don't put Burial Locations in these. there is room in the Biography for this. We also do not Abbreviate in Birth & Death Locations, County, not Co., please use full State name. Thank you. JPVIV
