It's time for the One Place Studies Project Check-In!

We've put together a survey for you to fill out to check in with you, it will only take a moment as there are only a few questions. Filling out the survey lets us know you are still interested in coordinating your study and provides an opportunity for you to share any suggestions you may have for the project.

If you have decided to step away from your study, please reply to this comment to that effect.

Hi John,

Wales Project Semi-Annual Check-In

Thank you for being a member of the Wales Project. You may recall membership requires at least one contribution to project goals during each 6-month period. A contribution includes creation of and modification to Wales related profiles.

Have you been able to contribute?

To all our active members, thank you for your work.

Please consider these questions:

- Do you desire to stay on your current project team(s)?

- Which teams are you most active in?

- Are there other teams you would like to join or become more active in?

- Also, do you have any feedback on what the project is doing well and anything we could do better in the future?

Please respond to this message by posting a reply in Comments below or sending me a private message. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Stuart Awbrey, Membership Coordinator

Hi Stuart,

Probably best to remove me from the Wales Project as I am not able to add anything new. My Welsh ancestor is Dr. Thomas Wynne c 1627-1692 Yskeiviog, Flintshire, Wales to Philadelphia in 1682 but I know nothing of him in Wales.

Sorry to see you leave. If the situation changes, you may apply again for membership.

Hi!

This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.

Thanks and have a great day!

I have not been active as I have found no new info to add. I'm a descendant of Dr. Thomas Wynne from Yskeiviog, Flintshire, Wales who immigrated to Philadelphia in 1682 aboard the Welcome with his friend, William Penn.

Hi John

I'm one of the co-leaders for the One Name Studies Project. I sent you a private message a while back about changes that need to be made, but didn't hear from you. I hope you are well and would appreciate it if you could let me know if you are still active on the Albertini Name Study.

Hi Amy,

I am still interested in the one name Albertini group though I'm not sure I can add much. My oldest Albertini was born in Casale Monferrarto, Italy in 1806 and migrated to Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany were he married and had a family, at least one son married there then moved migrated to NYC, I know almost nothing on the Italian line, only some info on the German descendants. Wish I knew more but want to stay on if possible, never know when a connection can pop up! I'll certainly add any info I can,

Thanks, John

Hi,

It’s Germany Project check-in time again! Please respond within the next 2 weeks and let me know if you’re still interested in participating with the Project. Remember, the only requirements for membership in the Germany Project are (1) that you work on at least one German profile every 6 months and (2) that you respond to this check-in.

Since you’re not already working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams, please look at our main Project page for a full list and let me know which team you’d like to join.

Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. In your response, we welcome any feedback you may want to give on the project (what you like about it, what you’d like to see us do, what we could change, etc.)

If you ever have any questions, please ask. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

John you answered the Google message with a statement of not sure how to be active.

This is one of your profiles https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Randall-8882 I notice you added a source there or two in March. Here is another https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Randall-505 (Maryland profile). Are you on a Maryland team? I also suggest you might ask your Team Leader. If you are on the Maryland team, that team leader is Jack Day. You could also add the Southern Colonies sticker to both of the profiles.

Here are other tasks to be active: Teams, Bio Builders, Quality Assurance, Sourcing, Profiles, Stickers for Southern Colonies, Categories for Southern Colonies, Data Doctors for Southern Colonies.

Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Hi,

The Germany/German Roots Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the list of them. Is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all the work you have been doing. We look forward to hearing back from you and that you will decide to be part of the project as we move forward with the new teams for the project.

Please respond by email. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
