You'll have to give more detail if you want good help. Here's a Thomas Bishop that married in Whitley County, KY, in 1832. Is he the individual you're interested in?

"Kentucky, County Marriages, 1797-1954," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QKJS-K5DD : 17 May 2018), Thomas Bishop and Cyrene Gatliff, 5 Jan 1832; citing Marriage, Whitley, Kentucky, United States, various county clerks and county courts, Kentucky; FHL microfilm 532,640.

May be. Or it may be his father or older relative of the same name. The man I am looking for was involved in an unresolved bastardly suit brought  by Margaret Richardson in1835.  He was also the Constable of Whitley County in 1841. Is there a way to confirm this is the same man? I would like to find the genealogy of this Thomas Bishop, as it is likely he is the father of my ancestor, James Richardson b. 14 Sept 1827.
