G2G: Who are the parents of Margaret Griner

Question

Who are the parents of Margaret Griner?  She appears as an 8 year old in the 1910 census in New Castle, Indiana listed as the granddaughter of Marietta Decker Griner.  Marietta had 4 children that lived -- Willie, George, Nellie Jane, and Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie).  Willie cannot be located after 1880.  George moved to Chicago.  Nellie married a Councellor and had several children. Lizzie married Omer Roberts in 1897 but is living with her parents in 1900.  There is an Omar Roberts living across town. She remarried in 1907 and had more children and left New Castle.  Could Margaret be the daughter of Omer and Lizzie?  Marietta died in 1916 -- Margaret was then raised by a couple named Hanns and moved to Denver by 1920.

In order for Margaret to be Grandaughter of Marietta Griner,she would have to

be daughter of a son of Marietta,Only son of Marietta is George,who moved to

Chicago.Thats her father. When George moved to Chicago was he married,

Is Grandmother just  watching the child,did george die. Now you have more

questions too chase down.

George could not be found in the 1900 census but reappears in 1910 in Chicago marrying and settling there.

Lizzie was still living at home as Lizzie Roberts in 1900.  When she remarried in 1907, she was using the name Lizzie Griner again.  So wondered if she did have a child, there is a possibility the child had the last name Griner.  Name changes were a lot easier back then.  Lizzie is enumerated with her 2nd husband and children in 1910 census -- unfortunately, the number of children is not answered in the census.

This may be a difficult one to pursue.
