Theotis “Teoties” Trombly was born on October 27, 1898 in Washington, Vermont, USA. Her parents were George Trombly and Louise Monette. She married Clarence Trombly on May 18, 1914 She died on March 04, 1974 in Lowell, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA

We need collaboration in finding more sources such as place of cemetery and burial? 

Note: is Clarence A. Trombly her cousin? She married at age 15 to Clarence age 24. Was there a parental consent?

I don't have a newspaper archives membership so could not actually go in and read this obituary for Theotis. They did have a text sample of the article from the Lowell Sun Newspaper Archives Mar 4, 1974 Page 20 which I copied. The text section runs together so I dont know if the George Pierce is part of her obituary or not ? She was a member of the St. Rita Parish (catholic) and so I think most likely she is buried there. But at least you have a church to search. 

George Pierce mrs. Trembly St. Rita s mrs. Theoties Trombly trembly 75, wife of Clarence trembly of 1357 Pawtucket blvd., died this morning at St. John s Hospital. Born in Washington vf., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Monette trem Bly. She was a communicant of St. Rita s Church. Surviving her besides her husband Are two sons Henry Trombly of Derry ., and Theodore Trombly of Lowell two daughters mrs. Dale Alice Ritchey and mrs. Robert Julia Vigeant both of Lowell two Sisters mrs. Ida White of Canada and mrs. Mildred Noel of Washington 27 grand children and 44 great grand children.

Sorry, I just went over her profile again and see that you have the newspaper articles! Does that mean that you have asked St. Rita's church for burial info or is that yet to be done? Being catholic would mean def being buried in a catholic burial ground. Consecrated ground. Would be pretty unusual not to choose that.

I’m assuming she is buried in the Lowell area. Maybe St. Rita’s church has a cemetery for their members? I agree a Catholic Cemetery. I can not find her gravestone or cemetery yet.

Yeah, I searched find a grave for her, no luck. If you run a google search for catholic cemeteries in the Lowell area you will come up with a list. Both her and her husband were members of St. Rita's church and likely some other family will be on the roster there. The Church is sure to have some records.

So the mother gave the permission, just checked, this is right...George died in 1910

Interesting what I have seen in the marriage documents. Not sure what you have, but I found the license as well. Mothers maiden name is given as Burnett.

Very tragic. It seems a lot of tragedy in the family. He was a vet of WWII from what I found also. So many kids left after his passing how awful! He wasn’t the only victim of this tragedy. It definitely made headlines!
