polly linville b. abt 1868 pond frk, boone, wv d. unknown  m. john ivan carper in 1885.  john ivan moved to ross co., oh w/o polly, date unknown.  1900 census has polly living in jefferson dist., lincoln co., wv, at age 32.  polly's parents are clark and mary woodrum linville.  they are buried in the Linville Cemetery, Lincoln Co., WV.  clark was the s/o preston p. linville, who would have been polly's grandfather.

1900 Census, listed under Polly Casper,married Eden B.Casper in 1885.By 1900

they were married 15 years.They were later living in Ross Ohio.That is where all

there children were born,There last child Sybill was born in 1904,By 1910 Census

Ivan Carper is widowed.so she died between 1904 too 1910.Never have found her

Grave.Her full name was Mary Francis "Polly" Linville.His was John Ivan B. Carper.

He died Nov 25 1940 Ross,Ohio.There names mis spelled in a lot of records.

She is buried without a marker in the same cemetery as her parents. She died before her husband moved to Ohio. Her daughter Linnie Carper Curry used to go to this cemetery and put flowers on her mothers grave.
