Willard Loughrey was born on July 08, 1840 in Louisville, St. Lawrence, New York, United States. His parents were Robert Loughrey and Mary Willard. He married Jane Cook on November 17, 1869 after being a widower for a duration. He married Agnes Cook on January 02, 1912

He died on July 15, 1929 in Louisville, St. Lawrence, New York, United States

He was a veteran of the 14th NYHA and it seems to show the 92nd NY.

Needs collaboration in adding his military service but also more about the Loughery farm creamery they owned in Louisville New York

Also need the memorials for his parents and siblings.

Thank you

I can’t find the category for 14th Regiment, New York Heavy Artillery

Thank you

I read in his obit he moved to Wisconsin for about 10 years but returned to new York and another article of a social gathering of music and the intention made they were moving! How cool is that!

Those special categories always more challenging to find will get the Civil War sticker up soon but a bit more complex with multiple regiments

Ahh the Wisconsin connection makes more sense now! yes

A very blessed mother all her boys survived did well and outlived her in the end.
The google book resource Link is broke but looks like a good source

Here's a link to the Unit Roster for the 14th NYHA:  https://museum.dmna.ny.gov/application/files/9715/4834/3944/14thArtCW_Roster.pdf .  Willard's service record is found on page 602.  My wife's great grandfather, Shelock Foster Black, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Black-15412 , also served in the regiment until his capture and imprisonment at Andersonville.
