G2G: Looking for "History of the Brown Family (of Erie, Pa.)"

I'm looking for a booklet or pamphlet from 1909 called "History of the Brown Family (of Erie, Pa.)" by Clara & Samuel Brown. It's cited as a source in another document but I can't find it on Google Books.

If anyone has any suggestions or insight, I'd appreciate it.

Hi Matthew,

It may be that this title has not (yet) been digitized. If you're in the USA and you have a good local library system, you can likely ask your local librarian to make an inter-library loan request for the title. They are pretty good about tracking down materials that are within the greater web of libraries.

It looks like the Erie County Library system might have the booklet (64 pages) in their collection at the Blasco Branch on the waterfront in Erie. It says the title is "non-circulating", so you likely have to visit in person. If you cannot visit in person, I'd recommend reaching out direct to their Heritage Room librarian (Library-Heritage@eriecountypa.gov) and see if they can look something up on your behalf.

Thanks, Marta. I did notice the Blasco Branch had something with that title but wasn't sure if it was the same one.

It seems these old genealogical booklets are largely kept out of circulation by libraries. Sadly, traveling to Erie isn't in the cards anytime soon. Maybe I'll give that e-mail address a try.
