Can anyone provide information about this family... I believe that David Morgan and Ann Richard were married in or around Maestag Wales...

Their son, Daniel Morgan, immigrated to the USA when he was about 20 years old (around 1864)... His son Thomas Edward Morgan immigrated in 1869... so possibly then??

I have NO IDEA how to research in Wales... any help would be truly appreciated.

I don't have an ancestry account. Could you possibly click into David and Ann's records and find their birth places also for me? Appreciate your time!!

Is this a census? I was thinking it was 1850... but that would indicate that Ann was born about 1820 and then she got married in 1831 at 11?

England and Wales Non Conformist Births & Baptisms.

David Morgan born Feb 27 1803 in Bridgend,Glamorganshire,His father

also David, Mother Anne.

LLangynwyd,Maesteg, Bridgend,all nearby.They were Baptist.Do you know

later descendants religion.?? Since travel then was very difficult, horse and

wagon.Any info would be close by.Printa map of Glamorgan and see

where these places are.

I don't know the religion but I do know David Morgan wrote about his brother Daniel and his Dad, David known as Deio and referenced Maestag.

This one can't be correct, for this family... David and Ann got married in 1831 so it does not fit David the dad or son.

hERE IS THE OTHER I FOUND.It is in Merthyr Tidfil, just north Bridgend.

This would make David the son about 21 when married.

David Baptised June 3 1810, Father David Morgan,Mother Ann.
