Hi Philip. Regarding the children of Piers de Grandison and Blanche Mortimer. Presumably you have the list from our-royal-titled-noble-and-commoner-ancestors, from which I see that Richardson is not cited for any of them. Richardson is highly regarded but his work simply is not available in the UK unless the books are purchased. The practice of citing Richardson when his work has not been seen is unsatisfactory. Only Isabel is of real interest the others all seem to have died young if they lived at all. I have detached her because I couldn't demonstrate her existence the argument being that none of her descendants were considered when discussing the abeyance of the barony of Grandison which seemed good to me. However there is that visitation. I hope I have not said that our-royal-titled-noble-and-commoner-ancestors is wrong, just not proven. The matter is certainly up for discussion. C

Hi Phillip,

Thanks self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Collaboration with Pre-1700 Project members is essential for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because those ancestors are usually shared by many descendants.

It looks like the England Project would be a good fit based on your branch of WikiTree. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Hi Phillip
