The Leendert Breetveld (abt 1860), is probbalbly the same as: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Breetveld-3 Or the full record on my site: https://stamboom.breedveld.net/webtrees//index.php?route=%2Fwebtrees%2F%2Ftree%2FBreedveld_Aelmans%2Findividual%2FI2886%2FLeendert-Breetveld
We're so happy to see you are still active on WikiTree and caring about the Dutch profiles. The Dutch Roots Project is looking forward to give the project a new fresh start to put the Dutch in a more prominent place on the WikiTree map. The project is currently managing over 50,000 profiles and the total number of Dutch profiles on WikiTree exceeds 500,000! Within the project we are monitoring the quality of the Dutch profiles and assisting other WikiTreers in producing those profiles. We would love to pick up some other tasks but to do so we need more volunteers. This is why we check in with the members of the DRP to see if you would like to help us expand.
1) Would you like to do some volunteer work for the Dutch Roots Project? 2) If yes, what kind of work would you prefer to do within the Dutch Roots Project? E.g. translating, sourcing, or something else you want to work on?
We hope for a positive reaction but please don't feel obliged to volunteer. We just want to have a group of persons we can ask to help us with certain activities
Kind regards,
Jan, on behalf of the Dutch Roots Project
Thanks for creating sourced pre-1700 profiles like Broer Douwes (abt.1680-).
Please try to provide at least a birth or death location estimate rather than leaving both locations blank. This helps disambiguate people since we have a global tree, locations help distinguish one profile of the same name from another. Even an estimate such as a continent, e.g., Europe or North America, is better than blank. Please read more here. You can explain the rationale for your estimate in a = = Research Notes = = section.
For example, in the case of Broer, his son being baptized in the Netherlands, so lacking any other evidence, it is almost certain that Broer was also born in the Netherlands, or at least Europe, so that would be a reasonable estimate that can be marked as uncertain and explained in the research notes. Likewise, his marriage is most likely in the Netherlands.
Please let me know if you have any questions on any of this.
Thanks.

Please also estimate birth or death location (e.g., Europe) for Goyert Hermansz van Galecop (abt.1650-), Anthoni Goyerts van Galecop (abt.1675-), and Elisabeth van Wijckersloot (abt.1675-) too.
Thanks.

As you like to work on Dutch profiles and finding fine sources I like to invite you to become a member of the DRP. Well if you re not a member already yet. But I do not see a DRP (The Netherlands) badge at your profile.
We are a fine and nice bunch of people, sourcing unsourced Dutch profiles, assisting eachother as much as we can.
Take a look at our Project pages please. There is so much info and - if you are Dutch - many help pages and info is translated to Dutch as well there - HERE is the info how to join us!
Maybe you like to sign up for the annual WT Spring Clean-a-Thon and join our team? HERE is our team page. We would love to have you on the team! If you like to join us - it is a great way to learn eachother better and learn a lot more about WT - you can register HERE just by hitting the green bar saying: ANSWER THIS POST and mention you like to join and on which team.
I hope of course you will join the Flying Dutchmen. :D
Thank you S. for all you do.

Welcome to WikiTree we noticed you are adding and working on Dutch profiles, and you added the tag Dutch Roots, so you of course are very welcome to join the Dutch Roots Project !
We all are working together and trying to get all Dutch or Dutch related families sourced and improved to make sure our WikiTree is as accurate as possible and so they all will have a nice looking and profile.
Greets from the Netherlands and hope to see you soon,
Bea :)
Happy Saturday!
Now that you've been with WikiTree for a week or so, I wanted to check in and see how you were doing. The New Member How-To's are for you to look through if you would like. I hope you find them helpful.
If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, don't hesitate to ask. Click on my name above and ask in the comment section of my page.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
David ~ Pre-1700 Greeter
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
