G2G: looking for Baptism of Jannetje Leenderts van der Borst

Question

Looking for the baptismal record of Jannetje Leendertse van der Borst, daughter of Leendert Leendertse van der Borst and Aeltgen IJsbrandtsdr Huijsman.

Several websites state that she was baptised in Poeldijk, Zuid-Holland, Nederland on 23 April 1730, but born about 1694 in Nieuweveen. However, I have not been able to find the original recording of her baptism.

At her marriage with Pieter Pieterse Nederpelt in 1716, it is stated that she is from Nieuweveen (now Nootdorp).

Hope someone can find the original baptismal record.

I did find the record for Jannetje Leend.(ertsz) van der Borst's burial, on the 25th of January, 1763, in Poeldijk, here:

I'll keep looking for the baptism though.

I think it would be worthwhile to add Jannetje's profile in the meantime, as there are primary sources for her death, burial and marriage, as well as children.

I also wonder why her baptism is listed as 1730, it just doesn't sound feasible. I've searched the baptisms of Poeldijk 1693-1696 to no avail, and there aren't baptisms available for that date for either Nieuweveen or Nootdorp, I think the baptisms would have been registered in a larger parish. The problem is finding which one. I'll keep searching though.

Because of Wikitree's system were the URL is based on the Last Name At Birth, I normally wait with making a profile until I have found the baptism.

I fully agree that it is weird for someone of the Catholic faith being baptised in 1730, already being married in 1716. It is just that the date on these other websites is so specific that I think there must be something, maybe another event.

I do the same - but recently I have put 'Unknown' in the LNAB field, and put the known surname in the 'Other Surnames' field or in the 'Current Surname' field, depending on whether the person is male or female respectively.

I agree there, not sure what's going on here. I thought maybe she was Reformed originally, but then realised that Catholics don'r re-baptise - that's what the Anabaptists do (lit. 'ana-' = 're')

Nieuweveen was part of The Hague at that time, but close to Delft.
