George is listed as a physician in his fold3 record and I’d like collaboration in his genealogy. He deserted, June 16, 1863, at North Mountain, Va. for unknown reasons. Does he have a FindAGrave memorial?

Any collaboration in this veterans genealogy is appreciated

Thank you

Note: present detailed as nurse in regimental hospital October 25, 1862

Andrew:

Take a look at these newspaper transcripts, which mention George in a less than complimentary light:

Wow well there is some more light shed on the circumstances of his desertion

I wonder if he was more of a nurse medic type than an actual physician who had the degree college grad backround
