G2G: seeking a referral for a professional seasoned genealogist [closed]

Question

I am seeking a referral for a professional seasoned genealogist, with some genetic experience I could hire to work on dead end/ brick wall. It’s on my “FILER” line, in particular my 3rd great grandfather’s second wife, and my 3rd great grandmother “The widow Mary Maria Hale” of whom we have very limited information and that of my my 3rd Great Grandmother’s first daughter by John Filer, Abigail. It appears that they just made mysterious arrivals (Mary Maria) and departures (Abigail). After several years and numerous hours of diligent research, and many professional attempts to solve this mystery without resolution, I would like to give this mystery one last attempt before I shelve this project as it is my last obstacle.

Mary’s parents would likely be determinable through DNA testing, assuming that they had other children and that those children have living descendants. Have you had all of your living relatives on this line do DNA tests?

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, some family members have had reservations about DNA testing. I believe there have been approximately 6-8 of the related cousins who have had their DNA tested and uploaded on Ancestry, WikiTree or other websites. You should be able to see the those who have uploaded DNA on WikiTree?

That should be enough. Is there any descendant of Mary’s a generation back from you who has tested? The further back in the tree, the more useful the DNA test. You can invite an experienced person to be a viewer on an Ancestry DNA test. They could then try to isolate the cluster of genetic matches from Mary’s part of the tree. This may be more successful than traditional documentary research. I’ve broken down a few of my own brick walls this way.

She passed away in 1849. Unfortunately we are the only generation to test. Too complex of an undertaking for me at this time, due to prior obligations which is why I would just like to avail them to the RAW DNA information with limited access to my accounts and happily  pay a researcher.
