just seeing in News reports Hall of Fame basketball player Bill Walton just passed away today on Memorial Day! He was a legend in the sport and many grew up watching him during his NBA career. May he Rest In Peace. He will be missed by so many fans

I did not realize he was ill.  Sad news.  One of the greatest players at the college level of all time.

I’m going to miss him a wonderful personality and the voice to so many games…the 1970’s was the Bill Walton Era of basketball who didn’t tune in to the UCLA games of that era with coach Wooden. The “Big Red” was so much to so many. The games he announced are forever etched into the fabric of famous announcers! A piece of what made it all special is forever gone…

So  to hear this news. I never knew he was sick with cancer ♋️. Loved watching him playing basketball .
