Lavinia Thompson (nee Hughes) was a descendant of the Frost 1820 Settlers and William was born in Doncaster 1850.  I actually came across William Thompson & Charlotte Yates on the Settlers Website but I haven't found a link. Thank you for your help Jen, much appreciated.

There is a Glen Thompson born May 26 1933 bap St.Pauls May 20 1934 Durban Natal SA - son of George Thomas Thompson & Molly Irene Thompson. Father was a carpenter.

Not sure what dates you are looking for.

Sorry for late reply - only saw this now.

Thank you Jeanne

I have finished my husband's Frost/Hughes/Thompson side and they are on the 1820 SA Settlers site. Our William Thompson is not the same one that married Charlotte Yates but I did look into that early in the research. My next project would be to go further back but at the moment I am gathering pictures and documents.  Always willing to assist anyone with South African records if I can find them online.
