I would look for Fredrick Bussa with an earlier wife. They would probably have been living in Tennessee. His present wife's ten-year younger age indicates that he may have had an earlier marriage than the present one. Fredrick Bussa's present children could all be children of his second wife, or the first two could be children of his first wife, the remaining three children of his second wife. A somewhat difficult process would be to find the children on the 1880 census and compare the birthplaces given for their respective mothers.
