G2G: Advice before editing this pre-1700 Gifford profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Abigail (Gifford) Ransom. This is what I can add: There is no evidence that Abigail, the wife of Robert(Ransom-298) Ransom, was born with the last name of Gifford.  Robert's eldest son, Joshua's. forst wife was Mary Gifford.  Perhaps this when this last name was introduced. The last name at birth should be "unknown".  Can this be changed and how?

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

It's only the project manager that can change LNAB.  I notice that another member commented about the lack of evidence for LNAB over a year ago.  The pm  hasn't been active for six years. I think that you should follow the guideline on unresponsive managers.https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Unresponsive_Profile_Managers  If the pm replies to your message(s) you can move on from there, if not you can file the unresponsive manager request form.
