G2G: Seeking information on parents of Michael Hennessy (1810-1859) transported from Ireland to Australia in 1829

Question

Michael Hennessy, son of Andrew and Bridget Hennessy, was transported to Australia from County Carlow, Ireland, in 1829 at the age of 19. He and his mother Bridget were convicted of stealing money from one of the guests in their boarding house in Tullow, Ireland. Bridget was sentenced to three months' gaol and Michael to seven years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 12 December 1829 on board the Larkins, commanded by William Campbell (Surgeon: Oliver Sproule), which sailed from Cork on 16 August 1829.

In 1836 he married Hannah Shearwood, daughter of John Shearwood and Ann Lane.  Michael and Hannah were my great-great grandparents.

I have ancestors by name of Hennessy too, Richard Hennessy 1778-1839, some of his children were transported to Sydney, Mary my third great grandmother and her siblings Catherine, Maurice and William from Tipperary.
