Child Phoebe Turner b. 1834 by relationship with John (T or S) Turner d. abt 1838 in Arkansas. Susan later married Hirum Campbell b. 02 Jan 1814 , had a Daughter Malinda Campbell Warren, and son Hirum Taylor Campbell 1848.

Susan is my brick wall. Phoebe Turner was raised by her paternal aunt, Phoebe Ann Turner Sisco  and Uncle John Andrew (Francisco) Sisco, Sr.

 Her mother was Susan Sisco and her Father was John T Turner. They were not married. Phoebe was born when Susan was 16 and John T about 20. In November 1845 she was a ward of her Aunt Phoebe Ann Turner Sisco and John (Francisco) Sisco. I have hit a brick wall with Susan--I cannot find any information about her parents. Susan later married Hirum Campbell. Their daughter was Malinda and Son was H. Taylor Campbell MD (Giles County TN. If you have any information I would be most grateful. Jeanne[1]

Hickman County Guardian and Administrative Settlements 1844-1846 page 88-89

"John Sisco guardian of Phebe Turner, Settlement Tn., Hickman County.: I have this day preeceded to settle with John Sisco, guardian of Phebe Turner, said guardian chargeable first to amount on a former settlement $249.53 3/4, second, to 2 1/2 years interest compounded $39.44, third one half of the estate of John, dec'd brother* of ward, with interest from last settlement, $147.65, as guardian of deceased, Cr by allowance for services $12, Cr by boarding, clothing, and schooling for 2 1/2 years $53, $67.04. Amount due to ward $369.58 3/4, respectfully submitted 1st Mon in November 1845. J. D. Easley, C & M of the County Court.

  • Note: John Turner was actually Phebe's FATHER, not her brother.
