Question

James Harold Petty was the husban to my sister, Dorothy Jean Abernethy.  He was the equivalent of a Navy Seal in WW2  and was injured by a Japnanese underwater mine. He receoved the purple heart.  He was born in Siler City on the old Petty Farm whioch grew tobacco.  I am searching for more information and the family trree,  Both he and his wife are burried in Siler City, NC.
