Adam is my great-great-great-grandfather. My online research has hit a dead end going further back than him. Also I live ~10 miles from where he is buried, my grandfather farmed, etc. My house to the best of my research was built by/for Jacob Sayler referenced in this book: https://books.google.com/books?id=mDlPAAAAMAAJ as (4-45 from 3-12). His son Daniel R Sayler (5-134 from 4-45) also lived here later. Jacob's brother Solomon (3-14) had a daughter Lydia that married Jonathon Garber (b.10-11-1806,d.05-01-1874). They lived less than 10 miles away and I'm curious if those Garbers are related to me.

It was a long shot if the 2 Garber lineages were close relatives. I was thinking if it was it would be cousins 4-5 generations back from 1790's era. At that point it might be in Europe and good luck with all the different spellings. I still am curious if there's known ancestors for Adam. Thanks!

Herbert, Thanks for adding Adam's profile to this question! I just now thought about it...

Haha, it wouldn't make much difference, but someone was sure to ask.  wink
