Are there any Australian researchers interested in a very prominent family?

Where I live we now can claim cash back for certain recyclable cans and bottles. Checking that my adult son had not put any in the wrong bin I came across a Tooheys beer can. Everyone in Australia would know the brand Tooheys so I thought I would check out what Wikitree had for them but there was nothing.

I have created a brief profile for one of the founding brothers but just a little simple research revealed that there is much more to this family. There is no shortage of information and some really interesting and significant stories of success, sadness and benevolence that should be told.

I probably don't have time to develop these profiles and bios at the moment and will happily pass this starting profile on to someone else, just contact me.

There is Walter John Toohey 1869-1934 Toohey-126 in Australia

Also Maurice John Toohey 1928-2012 Toohey-101 in South Australia

There are a fair number of additional Toohey's

The two at Wikitree above were found by going to Find upper right of page & finding Surnames on the menu.

Thanks Frank. I did look at the Tooheys on Wikitree but none were the Toohey company founding brothers, John Thomas and James Matthew Toohey, who were the sons of Matthew Toohey and Honora Hall from Limerick, Ireland.
