I have a death record for Jane / Jean Stirling which states she was buried in John Stirlings Haef Lair at St Mungo's Old.
Record included details of charges for the hearse and two horses etc so I am assuming that the 'Lair' is probably inscribed as her family must have had money.
Jane was married to David Croll (20 Mar 1831) in Glasgow, OPR states David ships carpenter in Glasgow and Jane Stirling residing there. Jane died 03 Mar 1844 aged 32, record states lived at Stobcross at time of death.
Sons, David,John, William and James with daughter Catherine, births were not registered and have searched Scotlands People, LDS and Familysearch.org.
To date the Scottish naming patterns have not helped nor are Janes parents mentioned in any of the old records. Her name is sometimes written as Jean too.

Can anyone advise me on how to proceed? have been researching Jane, my 4th great grandmother, now for 4 years and is the only mystery I have failed to solve.
