In 1810, there were 26 Skillings in Maine, 25 in Cumberland, one in Kennebec

Ok thanks Eddie, I was looking around and found this Mary Blackstone Skillings and fugued I’d make her a profile thanking her parents would be easy but I see it is going to take a minute to find her line, at least we have something to work with now. Lol.

William Blackstone and John Skillings

Blackstone-269 William Blackstone (1766-1850) Pownell, Cumberland, Maine 1820 he had a Free White Persons - Females - 16 thru 25: 1 but I got him getting married 1825 and age don’t match 16 thru 25 would make her being born 1795-1804 so I guess it isn’t him.  I will look at another William 


Found this same as yours you added and it looks like he is brother to William
