I understand that Clifford and Ruth were your great aunt and uncle. They were my aunt and uncle directly. I spent many hours with them over the years and visited their farm many many times. In fact, Clifford was a bit of a historian. He wrote his recollections of life in Utica in the early 1900's. I have a typed manuscript but have not had the time to get it downloaded to the computer. I'm sure you would enjoy his stories. They're not perfectly grammatical but give a good idea of what it was like growing up in the early 1900's in a single-mom household. Clifford and his two brothers were VERY close til the end. I have pictures if you would like to see them. Again, just need time to get everything downloaded. I never met Ruth's siblings but heard a little about them..... a Jap and Alma if I recall correctly. Haven't gone too far into Ruth's background as I've been following the Pride line.
So nice to hear from you! I was in Oklahoma in '78 or '79 for a Hutchinson family reunion. We stayed one night at Clifford and Ruth's farm in our RV. Lightning bugs, underground storm shelter and witnessing the biggest electric storm ever are some of the memories I have during that stay! Uncle Jap was such a character that it would be impossible not to hear about him. Would love to see the pictures and stories. My dad is still alive and would absolutely get a kick out of seeing those.
Thanks for all your work on WikiTree. I noticed that you recently created profiles for pre-1700 ancestor.
There have recently been some updates to the Pre-1700 Profile help page and the Pre-1700 Quiz since you took it in Aug 2018. Please review both and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You will notice that the wording has been modified to more fully explain the sourcing needed for pre-1700 profiles.
You have been using a link to FamilyTreeMaker.com but unless a person is a member of that site, the information is not available.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks,
Sherry
In answer to your question, it was a mistake on my part. I was going to fix it later today. So sorry.
I'd love to have you're help in researching the Parsons family of Virginia; but why is it that you created a duplicate profile of Christopher Parsons and unlinked his existing connections?
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches date of profile and avoid abbreviations. Citations & links for sources enable verification of data please add from wiki ID go to Research to find sources
You indicate that the England would be of interest. Amending your tag ENGJAND to ENGLAND will link you to the project.

Any questions please ask

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.
It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to Private w/ Public Biography & Family Tree to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see How to DNA on WikiTree
Here's a great YouTube video with all sorts of questions answered Getting Started with DNA.

A warm welcome to WikiTree. You are now a full member and can add your family to the big tree!
Click here to start with our New Member How-To Pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.
Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!

WikiTree is different from other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person. That means we will all share ancestors and work together as a collaborative team! The Honor Code helps keep everything functioning smoothly as we work on our SHARED tree.
You should have received an email with links you can use to get started. Once you confirm your email address, you'll have an option to volunteer to add information to WikiTree. Begin with tags for your own profile. Tags are surnames, locations, concepts, etc. in which you're interested.
When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add to the tree!
We're really glad you're here!
