Biography
Jacob was a member of the Aartswoud Reformed Church in 1690. A deacon of the church in Aardswoud around 1700. In 1704 and 1710 Arien, Jacob, Pieter and Jannetje Crelis Sluis are listed in the Aardswoud membership list as living by the Sluis on the dike. Jacob died Nov 10 1723, possibly the last of the family in the lock business. He most likely never married.
