the 1860 census

there are 2 Alfred Lowe in Tennessee born about the same time -  one born in North Carolina, the other born in Tennessee. The one born in Tennessee has a wife Elizabeth. The one born in North Carolina has a wife Mary and the children listed on the profile.

I think the lady who made the profile mixed the two men and Alfred belongs to Abraham

the only source I have for the Milsap/Lowe families is the book above

It wasn't  ALFRED that married a Dodgen wife. Albert Lowe married Polly Dodgen - death certificate for their daughter MARY , born 1858, died 1940, husband Stiers Huskey
