Help, I've hit a brick wall trying to locate JJ Greyling's Parents

Greyling-346 (Johannes Jacobus Greyling) was my grandfather. I'm trying to find his parents. I know his father was also Johannes Jacobus and that he participated in the "Anglo Boer War" (Have a medal with his name engraved ). I also believe that his father was married twice . My grandfather was apparently still at a young age when the second marriage occurred.
I've searched all Gen sites and can not locate this missing link. I'll appreciate any help which I can get.

The free site familysearch.org has records for the younger jj, perhaps they have some for the older one too?

Here is one for jj

"South Africa, Cape Province, Cemetery Records, 1886-2010", database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPZ6-8PZG : 5 November 2019), Johannes Jacobus Greyling, 1991.

Hi Johan,

First, if you have profiles with gedcom created biographies, check out this help page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:GEDCOM-Created_Biographies

There is also an app to help clean up these biographies, if you prefer. Wikitree AGC:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:WikiTree_AGC

Second, if you add location tags to your post you will get the attention of members with experience in those areas.

Finally, check out the resources of the South Africa project. Projects can be found under the Find drop down menu. And more Help topics can be found in the Help index under the Help drop down menu.

Hope that helps!
